COVID-19: QUARANTINE

Quarantine measures for persons entering from a state included in the list of green states:

if you enter from 14 June 2021 the territory of the Slovak Republic and during the previous 14 days you visited only countries included in the list of green states, you have mandatory isolation in the home environment or quarantine accommodation, which ends in an asymptomatic course of isolation upon completion of its 14th day or receiving a negative RT-PCR or antigen test result, and you can be tested on the first day of isolation.

Does not apply to persons:

who, on arrival in our territory, have a negative result of the RT-PCR test not older than 72 hours
or come from neighboring countries included in the green list and have a negative antigen test result not older than 24 hours, but the test must be performed on the territory of a neighboring state or the Slovak Republic
who have overcome COVID-19 in the period not more than 180 days ago
under 18 years of age

The quarantine does not apply to vaccinated, who have come from abroad or are members of a common household (regardless of the type of vaccine):

For a two-dose vaccine after the first dose and before the second dose: not earlier than 21 days after vaccination and no later than 90 days after vaccination
For a two-dose vaccine after the second dose: at the earliest 21 days after the first dose and at the latest 12 months after the first dose
In the case of a single dose vaccine, at the earliest after completion of 21 days and at the latest 12 months after vaccination
In the case of vaccinees who overcame COVID-19 and were vaccinated within 180 days after the disease, at the earliest after completion of 21 days and at the latest 12 months after vaccination.

Quarantine measures for persons entering from a state included in the list of red states:

if you enter from 14 June 2021 the territory of the Slovak Republic and during the previous 14 days you visited only countries included in the list of red and black states, you have mandatory isolation in the home environment or quarantine accommodation, which ends in an asymptomatic course of isolation upon completion of its 14th day or receiving a negative RT-PCR or antigen test result, however testing may be performed no earlier than the eighth day of isolation.

Exemption from quarantine for persons living in the same household as a person who has returned from abroad:

who have overcome COVID-19 in the period not more than 180 days ago
or have been vaccinated
For a two-dose vaccine after the first dose and before the second dose: not earlier than 21 days after vaccination and no later than 90 days after vaccination
For a two-dose vaccine after the second dose: at the earliest 21 days after the first dose and at the latest 12 months after the first dose
In the case of a single dose vaccine, at the earliest after completion of 21 days and at the latest 12 months after vaccination
In the case of vaccinees who overcame COVID-19 and were vaccinated within 180 days after the disease, at the earliest after completion of 21 days and at the latest 12 months after vaccination.

Please note that this quarantine exemption only applies to persons in the same household, not to persons who have returned from abroad.

Persons who have come from a red country and have been vaccinated or overcome COVID-19 must undergo home quarantine.

quarantine does not only apply to vaccinated persons who:

have a closed employment relationship, a similar employment relationship or a place of work in the territory of a state included in the list of red or black states and at the same time a permanent or temporary residence in the territory of the Slovak Republic, or
have a closed employment relationship, a similar employment relationship or a place of work in the territory of the Slovak Republic and at the same time a permanent or temporary residence in the territory of a state included in the list of red or black states.

if you enter from 14 June 2021 the territory of the Slovak Republic and during the previous 14 days you visited only countries included in the list of red and black states, you have mandatory isolation in the home environment or quarantine accommodation, which ends in an asymptomatic course of isolation upon completion of its 14th day or receiving a negative RT-PCR or antigen test result, however testing may be performed no earlier than the eighth day of isolation

RT-PCR testing is performed on day 8 at the earliest; However, the 14-day quarantine should be observed even if the test result is negative (!)

Quarantine also applies to people living with them in the same household and ends with the isolation of a person who came from abroad.ľudí, ktorí s nimi žijú v spoločnej domácnosti a končí sa súčasne s izoláciou osoby, ktorá prišla zo zahraničia.
